I’m sold on the wonderful world of Mac. In January of 2007, after the influence of this guy, I bought a Macbook. It definitely preformed up to all the hype. It ran fast and looked smooth. Then in September of 2007 it crashed.
Luckily I had purchased the Apple Care protection plan. I sent it back to Apple and within a few days it was sent back good as new. Then in December of 2007 it crashed again.
Same deal. I sent it back to Apple, they fixed it, and again sent it back to me. Then on May 14th it crashed yet again.
This time I was severely hacked off! I called Apple and we went through the same drill. Almost. This time they repaired it, sent it to the wrong address, and when I finally got it back, it was cracked! So, Matt and the Apple guy had a nice conversation. After a long conversation Apple agreed to completely replace my Mac. Any day now I will receive a brand new, latest generation Macbook. Equipped with all the newest software.
This whole thing has been a headache. The fact that I haven’t written Apple off is a testament to how much I love their products (when they work). Is a new Mac worth it? Yep. Going to be a cool unexpected birthday gift from the fine folks at Apple.
